Please note that weekend rallies start at 5.00 pm Friday unless otherwise stated and bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance. Booking slips - you may use those from your own Centre - must be accompanied by a £2 booking fee which will be deducted from you rally fee on arrival.

Revised arrangments for Booking Dinner Dance Rally (Jan 2011)

 

It is likely that our 2011 Dinner Dance will continue to be held at the Manor, following the excellent Service and attendance we have had there in recent years. Our 2010 Rally book will includes details of the Rally to be held in conjuction with our Dinner Dance in January 2011. This Rally is Limited and can only be attended by Members attending the Dinner Dance (Hotel Rule).This Rally CANNOT be booked after this years AGM. as is normal with other limited rallies

Following some controversy in recent years where the Rally Officer takes the Rally Bookings but the Social Secretary takes the Dinner Dance bookings the Committee have decided that in future Bookings for both these events will be taken at the same time, starting after our Dance Sunday flag, by the Social Secretary. The Social Secretary will only accept a booking from a member of the family wishing to book on (i.e. no proxy bookings please). He/She will also continue to take all bookings while space permits.

Your booking options will be:
Deposit - Based on 2 people
1. Attend the Dinner Dance Only - £5 per person deposit

2. Attend the Dinner Dance with Hotel Room -£5 per person deposit plus £20 Room deposit (which we pay to the hotel)

3. Attend the Dinner Dance with a place on the Rally - £5 per person deposit + £2 Rally deposit

The Committee apppologise for the confusion in the past and hope that the above will go some way to making your options more straight forward than in the past.

 

 

 

Spring Bank Holiday Rally 28th May - 3rd June 2010.

Come and join us at this 'New to the centre' venue on the outskirts of Church Stretton.

Basic Facilities site within walking distance of town. Ideal base to explore Shropshire - Wales border area prior to our 40th Birthday rally the following weekend.

The market town of Church Stretton is situated in the heart of the South Shropshire hills on the English/Welsh borders. Church Stretton with its picturesque surrounding villages forms an excellent base for the country lover or sportsman alike, in all seasons.

Cross-country routes are well marked for hikers, horse riders, mountain bikes, and naturalists. The Long Mynd, which rises above the west of the town, is renowned for gliding, hang gliding and paragliding, and boasts the second highest golf course in England. The adjacent countryside has wild uplands and breathtaking views. Situated midway between Shrewsbury and Ludlow on the A49, Church Stretton is also a convenient centre from which to visit several historic towns, castles, museums and sites of interest, within a 15 mile radius through beautiful countryside.

Church Stretton has a Antiques market, BMX & Skatebord park, Bowling green and Park, swimming pool, pubs & restaurants.
